Portrait Sessions - What To Expect

Portrait sessions take place outdoors and generally last about 1 hour long.  Most of my portrait sessions are of children.  As a mother of 3 young children, I am patient and understand that these little ones are busy and have small attention spans.  They will be happiest if we can give them little breaks in between to get their wiggles out and play a little.  Which is great, because I love candid shots as well.  :)

Feel free to bring a change of clothes so that we can have a couple different styles of clothes for you to choose from.  If you have little ones ages 2 and under - I do have some clothing props for little ones that you are welcome to use during your session.  I have LOTS of lace rompers and headbands for little girls, and I have newsie hats and overalls for little boys.

I will provide props for the photo shoot, I have many different items I use from chairs, vintage boxes, luggage, tricycles, etc.  If there is something particular you are looking for or hoping to see please notify me before your session so I come prepared.
